Five palaces: Gyeongbokgung, Changdeokgung, Changgyeonggung, Deoksugung, and Jongmyo Shrine. Rent a hanbok nearby — wearing one gets you free entry to all palaces.

Traditional hanok houses on the hillside between two palaces. Best on foot — narrow alleys opening onto tiled rooftop views. Go early morning to avoid crowds.

Seoul's creative district. Old factories converted into cafes, concept stores, and pop-ups. Constantly changing — good for a wander without a plan.

University neighborhood. Street food, live performances, bars, and energetic nightlife. Best in the evening. Very young and creative crowd.

Myeongdong for shopping and street food. Nearby Euljiro ("Hipjiro") has trendy cafes tucked between old printing shops — a great contrast.

Locals picnic by the river, especially on evenings and weekends. Order delivery food to the river (it works). Yeouido and Banpo are the most popular spots.

Itaewon is Seoul's most international neighborhood — diverse food, English-speaking staff everywhere. Haebangchon (HBC) next door is quieter with hill-top cafes and city views.

The Hyundai Seoul department store (one of the most impressive in Asia), IFC Mall, and Yeouido Park along the Han River. Good mix of high-end shopping and outdoor space.

Panoramic 360° views over the city. Go at dusk for best light. The hike up takes ~30 minutes if you skip the cable car.
